Embark on an unforgettable adventure with our 200 Alaskan Huskies and feel the raw power of the dog team as you experience the thrill of dog sledding through the breathtaking landscapes of mountains and fjords of Kvaløya. Each season offers its own beauty, from stunning twilight views to serene rides in the darkness, where the twinkling lights of Tromsø create a magical backdrop, and if you’re fortunate, you might even witness the magical Aurora dancing in the evening sky.
- Introductory briefing and training on the basic techniques of dog sledding.
- Driving a two-person dog sled through the beautiful mountain landscapes of Kvaløya Island. You’ll share the sled with another guest—one driving and one riding as a passenger—and switch roles at the halfway point.
- Guided tour for cuddling and learning about our dogs in our yard of 200 Alaskan Huskies.
- Enjoy our “world-famous” chocolate cake, coffee, and tea by the open fire in our cozy gamme hut.

Driving a sled also demands good physical fitness, including, but not limited to, the ability to jog uphill through snow, a good balance (also on one foot) and a tight grip.
